The Deathly Dark Ghost Tour of York and where to find the York Discount Vouchers to do tours for less
/We love a walking tour and this is our favourite ghosty, creepy, haunty one that visits sites of historical hauntings around York.
So if your question is - Who you gonna call to see some ghosts? then we highly recommend you don’t call Ray Parker Junior (he’s a bit tetchy about being mainly known for ghosts busting and didn’t seem to know much about York) instead I would recommend you get yourself to the website of The Deathly Dark Ghost Tour of York.
My family loved Dafydd, he was very funny and a great entertainer and just like Mr Parker Junior he ain't afraid of no ghosts. He is however full of gruesome stories, myths and legends on this 90 minute tour of the streets and snickelways of York. He even knew the best place to hide for us all when it started raining.
The tour is on every night at 8pm week days and 6pm on Saturdays, starting from the 1331 Bar and Restaurant.
You could think of it as an award winning, very well reviewed play because they have many statues in their down stairs toilet including:
Visit England Superstar award and award for excellence
Visit York Tourism Award
Yorkmix choice Gold Award
Love York Gold Award
My favourite Ghosts
Mr Claypole - ask your parents if your are not a 70’s kid
The paratrooper - you’ll find out on the tour…
Patrick Swayze because he was such a dreamboat and I love an 80’s action movie
