Spencer House

Spencer House was the perfect house for a few days away with the family. We had 3 under 3's in tow and the house was a great base for exploring and also relaxing at the end of the day. Just an easy 15 minutes walk into the centre, it was easy to see all of Yorks sights. There's even a lovely high street a few minutes walk from the house with shops, butchers and bars! The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. It is over 3 floors so might be difficult for people with mobility issues but was fine for us. The hosts were responsive to any questions we had. We had seen some previous reviews saying the house was cold, but we spoke to the hosts and we're able to have the house at a warm temperature throughout the night and when we were in during the day using the thermostat in the living room. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
