  • York Racecourse Racecourse Road York, England, YO23 United Kingdom (map)

The York Spring Fair & Food Festival will bring together one of the largest vintage funfairs seen in the region, and a food festival showcasing artisan products from Yorkshire and beyond.

The festival will take place in the Clocktower Enclosure at York Racecourse from Friday 28 May to Sunday 6 June, which will coincide with the Spring bank holiday weekend and school half-term week.

The vintage funfair will showcase unique collection of restored vintage rides from the golden era of fairgrounds, including a 1936 Speedway, a rare Brooklands Dodgems from 1937, a 1930s Chair-o-Plane, as well as classic funfair favourites.

The food festival will be comprised of approximately 40 artisan food and drink producer stalls.

Need a place to stay during the festival? Try a House of York holiday home, 109 and 107 Nunnery Lane are just a 10 minute walk away from the Race Course and prices for up to 6 people start at 100 GBP per night.

The York Spring Fair & Food Festival will be open daily from 10.00am until 6.00pm. Admission is £3 for adults, with children aged 12 and under free. This excludes rides and game stalls, which cost £3 per person.
