House of York is a family run business providing places to stay in the centre of York for families, couples and friends.
Our Story
Claire and Alistair started House of York in 2018. The idea was simple…
- create holiday homes in the centre of York that are luxurious, homely, reasonably priced and full of everything you need to feel at home while you are away
- do everything we can before and during our guests stay to share our local knowledge so they can have a fantastic time in York
Our places to stay in York for a holiday or city break
All 3 of our holiday homes are next door to each other which means you can hire them individually for up to 6 people or together for up to 12 (107 & 109 together) or even 18 people (Spencer House & 107 & 109 together).
We pride ourselves on being couples and family friendly and we try to take any of the stress out of your stay so you can focus on enjoying yourselves and magnificent York.
Lastly and uniquely we give you a House of York Craft Savvy Card that enables you to save up to 25% off the full price of ALL food and drink you buy from many of York’s independent bars, cafes and restaurants.
